Numerous people were mobbing Jesus, pressing up against him, trying to touch him and grab his hands, arms, and clothing. But there was something about this woman's touch which triggered a response from Him—a release of healing power. As I thought on the dynamics of this event, I wondered if it was possible the response from Him was involuntary...a direct result of her intense faith—much as magnets with opposing poles are irresistibly drawn to each other.

 

If this was indeed the case, it sends a clear message to every follower of Jesus about the importance of solid, unwavering faith in God.
