The stars in their courses fight against Sisera.

And you thought stars just "twinkled."

What is a warrior without his spear, shield, horse, and chariot? Judges 5:20 shows the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.


He is now just like any other foot soldier—except totally disarmed. And Barak is pursuing him.


You may recognize this exclamation as an expression of shock, horror, fear, or surprise. The expression is now a reality for Sisera. Celestial forces are deployed against him, and he is no match for them.


They have influences,  and they also have a dominion in the earth.

Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Job 38:31


Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

Job 38:33

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalm 33:6

God is eternally alive; by extension, whatever issues forth from Him is also living.

Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth. Isaiah 40:26

The stars have numbers, and they have names.
