And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

WHAT'S WORSE THAN OWING TAXES?

NOT HAVING THE MONEY TO PAY THEM!

This scene represents divine provision to pay the temple tax. The story is found in Matthew Chapter 17, verses 24-27.

Jesus instructs Peter to go to the sea and cast a hook, and the first fish that comes up

will have a piece of money in its mouth. Peter obeys, and the tax gets paid.

!! ARTIST         OBSERVATION !!

How many fish are there in the sea on a given day?

How many gold coins have been inadvertently dropped in the water, or lost when a ship capsized?

Never forget God is a Provider, and right on time for those who put their trust in Him!

Gold coins are great, but I'll settle for a coffee...thanks!
