When the possessed man sees Jesus disembarking
from the ship, he runs to meet him—worshiping him!
The collective force of all the demons is not strong enough to prevent the man from trying to get to the
only One powerful enough to deliver him.
The entities that delighted in destroying their host now cringe and whine in fear. They know that Christ is the Son of God, and they beg him to not torment them. He orders them to come out of the man.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10
